Agnes Chavez is an artist, educator and entrepreneur. In 1996 she created sube.com, an award-winning language system that teaches “Language through Art, Music & Games.”. In 2009 she founded the STEMarts Lab which designs programs that integrate STEM and the arts. Her awards include the renowned “Educational Innovation in the Americas” (INELAM) award in 2006, and the New Mexico Women in Technology Award in 2011. She shows at international festivals and has developed curricula and educational programs for Scholastic, National Hispanic Cultural Center, Los Alamos National Lab and 516Arts.
