The Paseo Project is hosting a monumental Taos community art extravaganza on Taos Plaza on September 23, 2017 from 7:00 to 11:00pm. Video mapped projection art will transform the plaza's adobe buildings, a silent dance party will move five hundred bodies at a time throughout the evening, and two fire sculptures will set the plaza aglow as visitors are invited to participate in a mass virtual photo booth installation. History will merge with fantasy, monsters will be exposed, world music will meet Taos traditions in an entertaining night of play for locals and visitors alike. Paseo Party on the Plaza is co-sponsored by the Town of Taos and The Paseo Project as part of the 43rd annual Taos Fall Arts Festival. It is a prelude to The Paseo 2018 Biennial, an outdoor participatory art festival scheduled for September 21 and 22, 2018.
